Check Out Minimize

Students:
Students check-out one library book when they visit the library each week during their class library time. The students do not take their books home, because they use them in the classroom for the Accelerated Reader program.

Parents: 
Parents are encouraged to come to the library to check-out up to five books for their child.

Faculty and Staff:
 Teachers or teacher assistants may check-out books for a classroom reading center or for the Accelerated Reader center. Books can be exchanged as often as necessary to provide students with the books that need for AR.

Our Library Media Specialist: 
Susan Mingee is a National Board Certified teacher and has been the librarian at Frazier Primary since 1995. She has 25 years of educational experience working with preschool through second grade students. Ms. Mingee is a former first grade teacher who loves children and books!

Our Library Clerk: 
Carolyn Holmes has been the library clerk at Frazier Primary since 2000. She has more than 22 years of educational experience, and enjoys working with our students on plays, Reader's Theater productions, and other library activities.

Our Library Media Specialist:

Library Fund-raiser Minimize

Each January, the Frazier Library participates in the Computers for Education program.  Parents are asked to provide names and addresses of eleven family and friends. The library receives fifty cents for each mailable address. The money earned is used to purchase new technology for the library and classrooms.
